Kemer is a seaside resort on the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey. As part of the Turkish Riviera, it is known for its pebble beaches and large marina. The town lies in front of the pine forests of the Olympos-Beydağları National Park, where a cable car leads to the summit of Tahtalı. Nearby are the extensive Greco-Roman ruins of Phasilis and the eternal gas fires emitted by the mythical Yanartaş rock formation.
